Indore: Voting material to be distributed from specially designed 6 waterproof domes
Collector Manish Singh took stock of all the preparations after reaching Nehru Stadium. Commissioning work of EVM machines in the final stage under tight security.
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): All the arrangements are being made tight for the elections of the Indore Municipal Corporation and Municipal Councils of the district. Polling material will be distributed to the municipal corporation from the Nehru Stadium on the morning of July 5.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is little chance of rain on July 5, but still, all arrangements are being made to avoid rain at Nehru Stadium. Six waterproof giant domes have been built in the entire Nehru Stadium premises in which voter material will be distributed to the polling personnel.
Plywood flooring has been done on the entire campus to avoid the problem of mud at Nehru Stadium. No matter how much water rains, there will be no disturbance in the distribution of polling materials. On the other hand, the work of commissioning EVM machines for voting is also going on in full swing these days under tight security at Nehru Stadium.
About two hundred and fifty workers are engaged day and night in this work. Collector Manish Singh reached Nehru Stadium and inspected the preparations for the commissioning work of EVM machines and the distribution of voter material. On this occasion, Additional Collector Abhay Bedekar, Additional Collector Ajay Dev Sharma, Assistant District Election Officer Munish Sikarwar, and other officers were present with him.
Collector Manish Singh said that the most important work for the upcoming urban body elections is the commissioning of EVM machines.
