Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Staff at the Shri Cloth Market Hospital here halted work and staged a protest on Monday after the relatives of a deceased patient allegedly assaulted duty nurses and other staff members. The staff demanded action against the accused and refused to resume duties for hours.
The agitation was called off only after the police intervened and assured the protesters of appropriate action. It also prompted the accused to apologise to the staff.
