Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A security guard was shot at by another guard of a jewellery showroom on Sunday night. Police said that the accused was sleeping during his duty. When the injured guard had taken his photo and he had put the same in their WhatsApp group, the accused was angry.
According to Bhanwarkuan police station in-charge Rajkumar Yadav, the incident took place outside the showroom around 9 pm.
Information was received that the guard named Sanjay Jagtap was shot at by his colleague. The police team reached the spot and detained the accused security guard named Pramod Pandey.
Preliminary investigations revealed that when Pandey was sleeping during his duty, Sanjay had taken his photo and he circulated the same in a common group. Angry with the same, Pramod fired a bullet at him, injuring him. The police are investigating the case further.
