Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development projects worth ₹1249 crore under the 'Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan Parv,' on Friday.
Beneficiaries of various schemes were also provided with benefits during the event.
These development initiatives aim to add to Indore's development and mark a significant milestone in achieving the vision of a developed Madhya Pradesh.
The event was attended by prominent leaders, including Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Minister Tulsiram Silawat, MP Shankar Lalwani, MLA Golu Shukla, and Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, along with other dignitaries.
CM emphasised on the importance of Solar energy:
While addressing the event, the CM said, "Today, Indore has become a global city. Cities like Hyderabad were known for IT, but now Indore is no less than any of them. We will organize an IT summit here. Indore excels in every aspect, and no comparison can be drawn with it. We will continue to advance welfare initiatives across the state."
The list of projects include:
Construction of new roads and sewerage systems
Installation of water pipelines in key areas
Building community halls and sports complexes
Construction of small bridges to improve connectivity
Establishment of a green waste management plant under a PPP model
Beautification projects and digitization of municipal documents

₹2200 crore project inaugurated in Sunser
Before arriving in Indore, the CM inaugurated a 550 MW capacity 'Agar Solar Project,' developed at a cost of ₹2200 crore, in Agar-Malwa district’s Susner
Additionally, the 330 MW 'Neemuch Solar Project,' built at a cost of ₹1320 crore, was virtually inaugurated.
In the program, development works worth ₹42.32 crore were inaugurated, and various development works worth ₹6.49 crore were dedicated through a foundation stone ceremony.
