Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav's father Dr. Rajendra Bhargav was hit by a speeding car on Wednesday Morning.
It is said he was out for a morning walk on January 15 near Indore's Gopur Square, when a speeding car hit him suddenly. He was then rushed to hospital immediately.
As per doctors, Dr. Bhargav has sustained fractures in both the knees, and he is currently receiving treatment at Unique Hospital.
According to police, one of the car passengers have been caught till now. However, the driver managed to flee.

As soon as informed, the Mayor, Additional Commissioner Amit Singh, DCP Zone-4 Rishikesh Meena, and several senior police officials arrived at the hospital.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the passengers of the car were under the influence of alcohol. The car driver is said to be a resident of Khategaon.
One critical among four injured
According to sources, the accident occurred on a service lane near Gopur Square. The accident other three to four other people along with Dr. Bhargav.
Among them, one person's condition is said to be critical and has been admitted to Choithram Hospital.
The police are investigating the case and searching for the absconding driver.
