'We respect The LoP': Union Minister JP Nadda Apologises To Mallikarjun Kharge Over 'Mental Balance' Remark In Rajya Sabha (VIDEO)
After Mallikarjun Kharge's fiery address in the house, in which he launched a scathing attack on PM Modi on various fronts, JP Nadda criticised the senior Congress leader for his choice of words used against PM Modi.

JP Nadda, Union Minister and Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha, apologised to Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the house Mallikarjun Kharge after the latter took strong objection to Nadda's remark in which he allegedly said that Kharge used critical words for PM Modi after losing his "mental balance" in pain.
After Mallikarjun Kharge's fiery address in the house, in which he launched a scathing attack on PM Modi on various fronts, JP Nadda criticised the senior Congress leader for his choice of words used against PM Modi.
"He (RS LoP Mallikarjun Kharge) is a very senior leader, but the way in which he commented on the PM... I can understand his pain. He (PM Modi) has been there for 11 years now. He happens to be the most popular leader in the world... We all should take pride in this, but since you are so indulged in your party's activities, the nation's cause becomes negligible for you, and after losing your 'mental balance', you utter unparliamentary words for PM Modi," Nadda said.
Nadda's comment was met with strong uproar from Opposition MPs. Shortly after that, Kharge rose and demanded an apology from Nadda.
"There are a few leaders in this House for whom I have immense respect. Nadda ji is one of them. Rajnath ji and he are ministers who speak without losing their balance. He is telling me today. This is a matter of shame. He should apologise; I am not going to leave this alone," he said.
After this, JP Nadda apologised to Kharge, saying, "We respect the LoP. I withdraw my words. I apologise if you are hurt. But you, too, were led astray by emotions. You went so astray that you could not be mindful of even the dignity of the PM; that is sad."
