Lakhimpur: A shocking incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur, where a purported video of a surgery being performed in an operation theatre (OT) at an allegedly non-registered hospital has gone viral. It can be seen in the video that the surgery is being performed in a dilapidated and unsafe room, and the person performing the operation is reportedly not a registered surgeon but a graduate degree holder.
Reportedly, this fake hospital neither has registered doctor nor medical facilities as per healthcare standards, yet surgeries were being performed.
The video shows a man lying on the hospital bed with his eyes covered, a man in a surgical gown performing the surgery, and a woman in a doctor's jacket assisting the man. Another man can be seen near the patient.
The man recording the video, can be heard mocking the alleged fake doctors and laughingly calling them a general MD. The woman can be seen smiling.
Opposition Reacts
UP Congress reacting to the video on micro-blogging website X said, "What value does a human life have in a state where the Health Minister is so utterly incompetent? Watch this video to understand."
