Rajasthan Crime: Inspired By YouTube Videos, Woman Pours Boiling Hot Oil On Husband In Jhalawar

Jhalawar: In yet another case of an attempted murder by a wife over an alleged extra-marital affair, a shocking incident has come to light from Rajasthan's Bhanwanimandi of Jhalawar city.
The woman has been identifid as Saroj and the husband has been identified as Manish Rathore. Saroj allegedly poured boiling oil on her husband Manish Rathore while he was sleeping late at night and locked the room from outside after the attack.
Manish claimed that he kept screaming and writhing in pain but Saroj did not open the door. When the children present in the house started shouting, the door was opened. With burns on his body, Manish came out and called his sister and reached the hospital.
After primary treatment, he has been referred to Jhalawar District Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.
Reportedly, Saroj had an illicit relationship with Ramsevak, the former tenant of her own house. When Manish came to know about this, there were constant arguments between the husband and wife. Since Ramsevak left the house, the fights escalated and the couple decided to stay in seprate rooms.

Saroj's search history revealed that she was watching videos on YouTube for several days on 'how to kill a husband', 'silent killing', 'boiling oil attack', etc.
Police Action
Police have registered a case of attempted murder against Saroj on the basis of Manish's statement. She has been taken into custody and is being questioned.
