Punjab News: BSF Shoots Down 6 Drones, Recovers 2.34 Kg Heroin Near Amritsar Border

Chandigarh: The Border Security Force (BSF) troops shot down as many as six drones and recovered 2.34 kg of heroin dropped by them in the Amritsar border area late on Thursday night.

A BSF spokesperson took to X to share the news stating that in a remarkable achievement, the BSF troops recovered six drones along with four packets of heroin in multiple incidents last night.’

Detecting the intrusion, the BSF troops deployed the counter measures which neutralised the drones coming from the Pakistan side.

Stating that in one operation four DJI Mavic 3 Classic drones along with three packets of heroin with 1.74 kg heroin were shot down in village Pul Moran, in another operation in Roranwala Khurd village border area, another drone was shot down which carried 597 gram heroin.

Likewise, another drone was intercepted and shot down in the wee hours of Friday in Dhanoe Kalan village border area.
