PM Modi, Union Ministers, Other MPs To Attend Vicky Kaushal's 'Chhaava' Screening In Parliament On March 27
The screening will take place at the Parliament library building at the Balayogi Auditorium. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, union ministers, and the MPs will attend the special show.

New Delhi: After its massive success at the box office and attracting its fair share of controversy, Vicky Kaushal starer Chhaava will now be screened at the Indian Parliament on Thursday.
The screening will take place at the Parliament library building at the Balayogi Auditorium. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, union ministers, and the MPs will attend the special show.
The entire cast and crew of the film, including actor Vicky Kaushal who played Chattrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, are expected to attend the screening.
Earlier last month, Prime Minister Modi had lauded the movie portraying the life of the Maratha ruler.

“It is Maharashtra and Mumbai which has given a new height to Marathi as well as Hindi cinema. And these days, Chhaava is making waves throughout the country (In dino to Chhaava ki dhoom machi hui hai). The introduction of Sambhaji Maharaj’s valour in this form has been made by Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel," PM Modi said while addressing Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan in the national capital.
'Chhava Movie Has Ignited People's Anger Against Aurangzeb'
Earlier last week, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis speaking on the Nagpur violence in the state assembly said, “I am not blaming any film, but Chhaava has presented the true history of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. After that, people’s emotions have been ignited, and the anger towards Aurangzeb is coming to the forefront.”
