Yesterday, in a similar incident, a state transport bus overturned while trying to avoid a crash, resulting in multiple injuries.
However, today, the biker, who was attempting to cross the road at a zebra crossing, wasn't as lucky as yesterday's motorist. The oncoming speeding car failed to brake at the right moment, leading to a tragic crash.
The condition of the passengers in the car and the biker remained unknown at the time of publication of this report.
According to reports, the bus involved in yesterday's incident was heading to Latur from Ahmedpur when it swerved to avoid hitting a motorcycle. The bus driver lost control of the wheel, causing the vehicle to overturn.
The bus was reportedly carrying 48 passengers, including women and students who were on their way to appear for exams.
Several passengers sustained critical injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
