Kurla BEST Bus Accident: Death Toll Rises To 8 After Individual Succumbs To Injuries During Treatment
The tragic incident occurred on December 9 in Kurla West when a BEST bus lost control, resulting in the deaths of seven people and injuries to 42 others.

Mumbai: One of the injured victims from the Kurla BEST bus accident passed away early Monday at Sion Hospital, raising the death toll to 8. The deceased has been identified as Fajlu Rahman Sheikh (58), according to Kurla police. Fajlu Rahman, a resident of Ghatkopar West, had come to Kurla to visit his married daughter.
In the accident, Fajlu Rahman, his wife Asma Tunisah, daughter Najma (25), and granddaughter Miskat (4) were all injured. While Fajlu Rahman was admitted to Sion Hospital, his wife, daughter, and granddaughter are receiving treatment at a private hospital. Police reported that their condition is stable.
