Dr. Apurva K. Srivastava Elected Youngest-Ever President Of La Martiniere Alumni In Lucknow

Lucknow: Dr. Apurva K. Srivastava has been elected as the youngest ever President of the La Martiniere Alumni (LMA) following a closely contested election held in Lucknow.

The newly elected Executive Committee will be headed by Patron Gary Dominic Everett and President Dr. Apurva K. Srivastava. Ratnesh Gupta has been elected Vice President, Alok Nigam Secretary and Suyash Kapur Treasurer.

The committee also includes alumni members Abhay Pratap Singh and Akshay Jethanandani, while Priyank Simon and Edwin Mulcahy have been elected as staff representatives. Former President Mohit Bhargava has been inducted as the co-opted member.

Speaking after his election, Dr. Srivastava thanked members of the alumni association for reposing their faith in him and said the new executive would focus on further strengthening La Martiniere College's rich traditions, academic excellence and the spirit of mutual support among alumni.

He said the committee would work towards enhancing engagement with alumni, preserving the heritage and legacy of La Martiniere College, Lucknow, and encouraging greater participation from Old Martinians across generations.

The newly elected body will oversee the activities of the alumni association and work to deepen ties between former students and the institution while promoting initiatives that uphold the college's longstanding traditions and values.
