Bihar: Tej Pratap's brother-in-law attends official meeting, BJP slams Nitish Kumar govt

Following the meeting, a photograph was circulated in the social media on Friday and BJP leaders targetted Nitish Kumar government for taking the dynastic politics forward in Bihar.

Patna: The BJP on Friday asked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to seek clarifications from Deputy CM Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and forest minister Tej Pratap Yadav for violation of conduct rules.

Sushil Kumar Modi, former deputy chief minister for 14 years in a tweet said, "Mahagathbandhan government has started new practices in breach of official business rules. In a departmental meeting, Tej Pratap was seen present with his sister's husband Shailesh Kumar and Tejashwi with his RJD activist from Haryana, Sanjay Yadav".

Modi said the two sons of Lalu Prasad were taking assistance of the brother-in-law and a Karyakarta in discussing official issues with additional chief secretary and chairman of Pollution Control Board yesterday.

BJP leader said that the IAS officers could not ask the two outsiders to keep away from the meetings. Now, it is for the chief minister to seek clarifications from the officers why they allowed private person's presence in the official meetings of the ministers who had taken oath of secrecy last week.

Tej Pratap had released photos of the official meetings at Pollution Control Board office. Shailesh Kumar, husband of his eldest sister Misa Bharti was present and discussing official issues with Dr Ashok Kumar Ghosh and other members.
