Bengaluru Weather Forecast: City To Experience Hot And Humid Day On Tuesday, Says IMD
According to the India Meteorological Department, the city is set to experience cloudy skies on Tuesday. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to be around 22 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Bengaluru: The residents of the city are set to experience cloudy skies on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to be around 22 degrees Celsius and maximum temperatures of 34 degrees Celsius. The city witnessed the Sunrise at 06:25 AM and the Sun is expected to set at 6:30 PM.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave warning for several regions of Karnataka until March 19, 2025. The weather department noted that with a significant rise in temperature, the city has become hotter than both Delhi and Mumbai.
Ainapur Hobli village in Kalaburagi has recorded 42.8 degrees Celsius on Saturday, making it the hottest place in the state. Today, the wind is expected to blow steadily from the Southeast at 8 km/h.
KSNDMC shared a weather report
The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report for the next five days on X and wrote, "Coastal, Hilly & South Interior districts of the state today and tomorrow with thunder, lightning and squall with wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph, scattered moderate rain, rest of days will be dry."

As per the KSNDMC, temperatures across numerous regions in Karnataka, including Raichur, Kalaburagi, Bidar, Bagalkote, Yadgir, and Vijayapura, surpassed 40 degrees Celsius on Friday. Rise in temperatures were also observed in Bagalkote and Belagavi.
Other districts, including Tumakuru, Ballari, Gadag, Koppala, Uttara Kannada, Vijayanagara, Chikkaballapur, and Mysuru, will experience hot and humid weather throughout the week. Karnataka's Health Minister, Dinesh Gundu Rao, has urged residents to take precautions.
