1 Killed, Several Injured In Train- Inspection Trolley Collison In Bihar's Katihar (VIDEO)

PATNA: A tragic incident has come to light from Bihar's Katihar. A railway worker was killed and three others suffered severe injuries after a railway trolley collided with the 15910 Avadh Assam Express on Friday.
The collision took place when 4 employees on the railway trolley were inspecting the track. Just then, the Awadh Assam Express came from behind and the train hit the trolley. One trolleyman who was working on the trolley died on the spot.
While confirming the initial news of the incident, Katihar ADRM Manoj Kumar Singh said, since this area is adjacent to Katihar Railway Division, a medical team has been dispatched from Katihar. Currently, all the injured have been admitted to the nearest health center, where they are undergoing treatment.
The Bihar unit of the Congress posted a video from the spot. "We pray to God to give peace to the departed soul and speedy recovery to the injured," the party posted on X.
"It is a matter of great concern that train accidents are not stopping under the Modi government. Passengers are forced to travel in the shadow of fear and terror," Congress said.
The party claimed that in the last one year 98 train accidents have happened,26 people have lost their lives and 171 people have been injured.
After the accident, part of the trolley got stuck in the train's engine. The railway trolley has been removed from the track, reported Danik Bhaskar.
