Sanam Teri Kasam Re-Release Box Office Collection Day 3: Harshvardhan-Mawra Starrer Earns More Than Its Budget In First Weekend
Sanam Teri Kasam starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane has taken the box office by storm. The film, which was original released in 2016, was re-released on February 7, 2025, and it has done a fantastic business in first week. Sanam Teri Kasam was a flop when it was originally released, but now, in just three days, it has surpassed the budget it was made on.

There's a saying 'Success is delayed, not denied'. Now, this syaing has turned out to be true for the makers and the cast of Sanam Teri Karam. The film starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane was originally released in 2016. At that time, the movie flopped at the box office with a lifetime collection of Rs. 9.11 crore. Sanam Teri Kasam was made on a bidget of Rs. 14 crore, so of course theatrically it was a flop.
Now, last Friday, the movie was re-released in theatres, and while it was expected that it will take a good opening, film has suprised one and all. According to Sacnilk, the movie took an opening of Rs. 4.25 crore beating all the new releases. On day 2 of its re-release, the film minted Rs. 5.25 crore, and on third day, it showed a jump once again and collected Rs. 6-6.25 crore.
So, the three-day total is approx. Rs. 15.50 crore which is excellent. As the movie is made on a budget of Rs. 14 crore, it has surpassed its budget in just three days. The film is expected to do well at the box office over weekdays, and be the first choice of the audiences.
For now, we can expect Sanam Teri Kasam to end its first week run with around Rs.19-20 crore of business. However, if it continues to do exceptionally well, then of course the collection can be more Rs. 20 crore.
Coming Friday, Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava is going to release, so that film will be a competition for Sanam Teri Kasam, but it is expected that still it will hold well at the ticket windows.

Free Press Journal recently interacted with Harshvardhan, and while talking to us about the success of Sanam Teri Kasam re-release, the actor said, "It is a very soothing feeling. This makes you believe in what Shah Rukh Khan sir said (in Om Shanti Om), ‘Agar sab thik na ho toh woh the end nahi, picture abhi baaki hai mere dost’. I could resonate with that dialogue after nine years of trying and failing and still trying again. So, it is a like a soothing ointment and justifies what dialogue Farah ma’am had in the film."
