Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 19 To Air For Around Six Months; Longest Season Of The Reality Show: Report

Earlier this year, there were reports that Bigg Boss 19 might get postponed as Banijay Asia has opted out of producing it. However, on Thursday, a report suggested that the show, which is hosted by Salman Khan, will start airing in July, and now, according to Gossips TV, Bigg Boss 19 will air for around six months. The show will start by the end of July this year and will air until January 2026, and Bigg Boss OTT has been cancelled this year.

Well, till now, the longest season of Bigg Boss has been season 14. It aired for 142 days, and the second-longest was season 13, which was on air for 141 days. Now, if this report turns out to be true, Bigg Boss 19 will become the longest-running season as it will be airing for around six months.

It will surely be interesting to see which contestants will be roped in for Bigg Boss 19 and if celebs will agree to stay in the house for such a long period of time. Usually, Bigg Boss starts in September or October and ends in January, but this time, reportedly, it will start in July.

Salman Khan Fans Don't Want Him To Do Bigg Boss

On Thursday, a report in Bollywood Hungama revealed that Salman is in talks with the makers of Kaun Banega Crorepati to replace Amitabh Bachchan. Soon, fans of the Sikandar actor started posting on social media that he should leave Bigg Boss and host KBC.

Meanwhile, Salman is all set to star in Apoorva Lakhia's next film which is based on Galwan Valley Conflict. Reportedly, it will start rolling in July this year. However, there's no official announcement about the film.
