Ramayana Budget: Over ₹ 4000 crore Being Invested In Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi & Yash Starrer
Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash starrer Ramayana is being made on a budget of over Rs. 4000 crore. While talking about the budget of the film, producer Namit Malhotra recently, in an interview, said, "It will be about 500 million dollars by the time we are done on both films put together, part 1 and 2, which is over Rs. 4000 crore."

Ramayana starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash is undoubtedly the most awaited upcoming Indian film. A few days ago, there were reports that the film is being made on a budget of Rs. 1600 crore. However, now producer Namit Malhotra, in an interview with YouTuber Prakhar Gupta, has revealed that the film's budget is going to be over Rs. 4000 crore. Yes, you read it right!
When Namit was asked about the budget of the film, he said, "We are funding it ourselves, we are not taking anybody's money. When we sat out to make it, like six-seven years ago, and when after the pandemic, we got serious about mounting it and producing it, everybody thought I am a lunatic."
"No Indian film by a long distance comes close to it. So, to put it simply, it will be about 500 million dollars by the time we are done on both films put together, part 1 and 2, which is over Rs. 4000 crore," he added.
Ramayana Release Date
Ramayana will be released in two parts. Part 1 is slated to release on Diwali 2026, and part 2 will hit the big screens on Diwali 2027. Reportedly, part 1 will end with the Sita Haran. However, there's no confirmation about it.
Ramayana First Glimpse
On July 3, 2025, the first glimpse of Ramayana was released, and it received a fantastic response. Now, everyone is eagerly waiting for the teaser and the trailer of the movie.
