'Publicity Stunt Nahi Hai': Akshay Kumar On Hera Pheri 3-Paresh Rawal Controversy

Hera Pheri 3 has been in the news for multiple reasons. A couple of months ago, the movie made it to the headlines because of Paresh Rawal's exit. It was reported that Akshay, who now holds the rights for the franchise, had filed a legal case against Rawal for leaving the movie. However, things were solved, and everyone's favourite Babu Bhaiya joined the cast of the film again. But, netizens started speculating that maybe all this was a publicity stunt.

Now, Akshay Kumar, while interacting with Hindustan Times, revealed that it was not a publicity stunt. He said, “Nahi, yeh publicity stunt nahi hai. The things went legal, so when legal things are involved, we cannot call it a publicity stunt; it is a real thing."

Akshay Kumar Reveals Everything Is Solved

The actor further added, “But ab sab kuch thik ho gaya hai. Very soon, some kind of announcement can come. Yes, there were some ups and downs. But now everything is solved, and we are back together, and we have always been together. Yes, that’s it!”

We are sure fans of the Hera Pheri franchise will be happy to know that everything is solved, and soon the movie will be officially announced. Earlier, this year, there were reports that Akshay, Suniel, and Paresh have shot for an announcement video, and reportedly, during the IPL, it was supposed to be launched. But that didn't happen.

Hera Pheri 3 will be directed by Priyadarshan, who helmed the first instalment of the movie. It is not yet known which actress will be seen as the female lead in the third instalment of the franchise.

Meanwhile, apart from Hera Pheri 3, Akshay and Priyadarshan have teamed up for Bhooth Bangla, which is a horror-comedy. They are also collaborating on a movie titled Haiwaan, which stars Saif Ali Khan alongside Akshay. So, we wonder if Hera Pheri 3 will start rolling after Haiwaan.
