Oru Jaathi Jathakam OTT Release Date: Know About Plot, Cast And Streaming Platform

Oru Jaathi Jathakam is a romantic comedy film featuring Vineeth Sreenivasan as Mambrath Jayesh, Babu Antony as Ramesh Babu, Nikhila Vimal as Sinitha, and Kayadu Lohar as Payal, among others. The Malayalam-language film was released in theatres on January 31, 2025. After a long wait, Oru Jaathi Jathakam is finally ready to stream on OTT in March 2025.

The film is set to be released on March 14, 2025. Those who missed its theatrical release can enjoy the film from the comfort of their homes on Amazon Prime Video. The streaming platform shared the poster of the film on Meta (Facebook) and captioned, "After Aravindan's Guests, 'Oru Jathikam', the collaboration of M Mohanan and Vineeth Sreenivasan, will be on Manorama Max from March 14th..!" 

Storyline of Oru Jaathi Jathakam

The film is set in Malabar and follows a 37-year-old man living in Chennai who is eager to marry but struggles to find an appropriate partner due to his high standards, which would make any modern woman uncomfortable. Throughout the story, Jayesh faces a series of challenges and meets several women, which forces him to confront his narrow mindset and recognise the flaws in his thinking. As a result, he decides to transform himself and embarks on a journey of self-discovery.

Along with Vineeth Sreenivasan as Mambrath Jayesh, the cast of the film includes Nikhila Vimal as Sinitha, Isha Talwar as Thathrikutty, Kayadu Lohar as Payal, Babu Antony as Ramesh Babu, Sayanora Philip as Baby, Mridul Nair as Jithesh, and Ranji Kankol as Prasanth, among others. Oru Jaathi Jathakam is helmed by M Mohanan and written by Rakesh Mantodi. Maha Subair has bankrolled the film under Varnachithra Big Screen. Ranjan Abraham has done the editing of the film and Guna Balasubramanian has composed the original score and songs for the film.
