Main Accused In Sunil Pal, Mushtaq Khan Kidnapping Case Arrested After Encounter In Bijnor, Visuals Surface
The main accused in the kidnapping cases related to comedian Sunil Pal and actor Mushtaq Khan, was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police on Sunday after a dramatic encounter. The accused, identified as Lavi Pal, open fired at the cops on being caught, and that is when cops fired back, injuring Pal in the process, and eventually arresting him.

The main accused in the kidnapping cases related to comedian Sunil Pal and actor Mushtaq Khan, was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police on Sunday after a dramatic encounter. The accused, identified as Lavi Pal, open fired at the cops on being caught, and that is when cops fired back, injuring Pal in the process.
As per reports, Pal and his accomplice were travelling through the Mandawar area in Bijnor on Sunday night. As the police got a tip off, they laid a trap and caught the duo. However, both of the fired at the police, and when the police fired back, a bullet hit Pal on his right leg.
He was swiftly arrested, but his accomplice managed to flee the scene in the midst of the commotion.

Pal is currently admitted to the Bijnor district hospital under police custody and he will be charged under the Gangster Act, along with other relevant sections for kidnapping and extortion.

For those unversed, actor-comedian was kidnapped on December 2 after he was invited to Delhi for an event. The comedian stated that upon arrival at the Delhi airport, he was picked by some men in a car, and they then drove him to Meerut, where he was held for ransom. He was eventually let go after he paid a ransom of Rs 7.5 lakh.
Mushtaq Khan revealed that he was kidnapped in a similar fashion on November 20, and that he was tortured for 12 hours, before he could manage to escape from the place.
