Plot
The series is set in December 1988 and focuses on Jim Swire, whose life is turned upside down when he learns of his daughter's death on a transatlantic flight from London to New York City. The plane was destroyed by a bomb just 38 minutes after takeoff while flying over the Scottish town of Lockerbie, killing all 243 passengers and 16 crew members on board. Parts of the plane also crashed into a residential area, resulting in the deaths of 12 people on the ground. In light of this horrific incident, Jim Swire and his wife embark on a journey seeking justice for their daughter and all the victims.
