When paparazzi asked Sunita "Govinda sir kaha hai?". She first replied, "What?" And then she laughed and said, "Hum khud dhund rahe hai."

Well, Govinda and Sunita have not given any statement about the divorce rumours. However, their family members like Arti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, and others had denied the rumours. Even the actor's manager while talking to Ht City had stated, “Sunita ji ne jo recent interviews mein baatein boli hain, yeh unn sab ka nateeja hai. Unhone zyaada bol diya hai. And you know Govinda sir… there is friction.”

When the rumours of their divorce had started doing the rounds it was stated that the reason behind it is Govinda's affair with a Marathi film actress. When ETimes had contacted the actor to ask about divorce rumours, he had said, “These are only business talks going…I am in the process of starting my films."
