'Rashtra Kavach OM' Box Office Collection Day 2: Aditya Roy Kapur's film mints Rs 1.70 crore

The much-hyped actioner 'Rashtra Kavach OM', starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjana Sanghi in the lead, opened with a sublime response at the box office.

The film, which hit the silver screens on July 1, managed to earn Rs 1.51 crore at the box office on its first day.

And now, on its second day, which was also the film's first Saturday, 'Rashtra Kavach OM' collected Rs 1.70 crore.

With this, the total revenue of the film at the Indian box office has mounted to Rs 3.21 crore in two days.

Aditya Roy Kapur's chiselled body and a menacing action avatar is being loved by the viewers, whereas Sanjana Sanghi's never-seen-before daredevil character has been grabbing eyeballs.

Ahead of the film's release, Aditya had revealed that his transfomation for 'Rashtra Kavach OM' has been the most challenging one ever.

"For the film I trained in action for four months and to maintain the physique I had to keep the balance between action training and heavy weight training to build muscles during workout. This has been my most physically challenging film to date. But it was a process that was necessary to do justice to the role," he shared.

The actioner also stars Jackie Shroff, Prakash Raj, Ashutosh Rana and Prachi Shah in pivotal roles.
