Harleen Sethi opens up on being called Vicky Kaushal's ex-girlfriend: 'Feels bad if referred to as anything but your name'

Actress Harleen Sethi, who shot to fame with her web show 'Broken But Beautiful', was once in a relationship with Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal. However, the two parted ways due to reasons known best to them, and have ever since refrained from speaking about each other in public.

However, Harleen has now finally opened up on being referred to as Vicky's ex-girlfriend by news portals, and stated that it is hurtful to be known by someone else's name.

During a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Harleen said, "I’ve started to just understand that there are so many media houses and even they need to sell. So how would they? Everybody’s working hard, they’re writing these big big articles even if it’s completely about me but they need a headline which will attract people so that their work is also appreciated and gets acknowledged."

She went on to say, "I’ve just started understanding, of course, you feel bad if you’re referred to as anything but your name but what do you do now."

She mentioned that being referred to as Vicky's ex does bother her as she has worked hard to build a name and lived a life beyond just being someone's former partner.

For the unversed, rumours of Vicky and Harleen’s break up had started doing the rounds in 2019 when the actress had unfollowed Vicky on Instagram. Vicky’s apparent closeness with Katrina Kaif is also stated to be the reason behind their break-up.
