After smashing several records at the box office, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva released digitally on November 4.

The magnum opus is produced by Star Studios and Dharma Productions. It is directed and written by Ayan Mukerji. The visual spectacle also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ayan opened up about making changes to the OTT version of Brahmastra and how it will enhance the experience of the viewer.

"We continued to work for the digital release. We refined the sound of the film. Pritam Dada came in and cleaned up some bits that were not actually there in the cinema release. I went back to the edit and added a few nips and tucks. Our team has actually been working up till this point to continue on the film," he told the entertainment portal.

The filmmaker said, "I added some bits in Shiva and Isha’s love story, Isha’s pull towards Shiva, and a couple of dialogues. It's subtle stuff. I believe that it will make the journey of the film a little smoother."

The digital premiere of Brahmastra gives the audiences, who have missed viewing for the first time, a chance to watch the stellar ensemble come together to create magic on screen.

Ayan had earlier shared about the film’s new journey in the OTT world. He had said, “The journey of bringing Brahmāstra to life has been exciting and challenging, and I’m grateful to audiences all over the world who have embraced the film with their overwhelming love and support. Brahmāstra is a grand celebration of our rich Indian culture, of our spirituality, and a product of where our unique history meets technology.''
