Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling 2026: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has commenced the online application process for preparing the State Merit List for NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, and BHMS courses under the state quota. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official website from August 7 to August 11, 2026 (up to 3 pm).

The counselling process will be conducted in four stages—Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round for admissions to government and private medical and dental colleges across Jharkhand.

Online application submission: August 7 to August 11, 2026 (up to 3:00 PM)

Application correction window: August 11, 2026 (3:01 PM to 12:00 midnight)

Publication of State Merit List: August 12, 2026

Round 1 registration and choice filling: August 13 to August 19, 2026

Choice editing: August 20, 2026

Round 1 seat allotment: August 22 to August 28, 2026

Document verification and admission: August 23 to August 28, 2026

Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling 2026: How to apply

Candidates can check out the steps below to apply for the counselling:

Step 1: Visit the JCECEB website at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.

Step 2: Proceed by clicking on "Click here for All Online Application Submission - 2026".

Step 3: Fill out the online application form.

Step 4: Upload the required details/documents.

Step 5: Pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.

Step 6: Submit the application before the deadline.

Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling 2026: Fees

General/EWS/BC-I/BC-II: Rs 500

SC/ST/Female candidates of all categories: Rs 250

Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling 2026: Counselling fee

General, EWS, BC-I and BC-II: Rs 1,000

SC, ST and Women candidates: Rs 500

Divyang candidates: Rs 500

Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling 2026: Refundable security deposit

For Government Medical Colleges

General and EWS: Rs 20,000

SC, ST, OBC and PwD: Rs 10,000

For Private and Deemed Medical Colleges

Medical colleges: Rs 200,000

Dental colleges: Rs 100,000

The security deposit is refundable and will be returned within three months after the completion of the last round of counselling, subject to the prescribed conditions.
