DU's St Stephen’s College And Dwarka's St Thomas School Evacuated After Email Bomb Threats; Investigation Underway

Panic gripped parts of the national capital on Tuesday after St. Stephen’s College, a prestigious institution under Delhi University, and St. Thomas School in Dwarka received bomb threats via email, prompting swift emergency response.
According to Delhi Police, the bomb threats were sent through email, triggering the deployment of multiple emergency units, including the Delhi Police Bomb Squad, Dog Squad, Fire Brigade, and Special Staff teams to both locations, as per the news agency ANI.
Authorities promptly evacuated both the school and the college as a precaution. After thorough inspections, officials have confirmed that no suspicious objects have been found at either location so far.
Search operations are currently ongoing at both sites. Authorities are treating the threat seriously and have initiated an investigation to trace the origin of the email. Further details are awaited.
This marks the second such incident in as many days. On Monday, similar threats were reported at CRPF Public School in Dwarka Sector 16 and Navy School in Chanakyapuri. Those schools were also evacuated and searched, but no explosive devices were found.
Delhi Fire Services (DFS) confirmed receiving calls from both schools on Monday morning after administrators reported receiving bomb threats via email. “Our teams were dispatched immediately in coordination with the bomb squad,” said a DFS official.
