Youth Attacked With Sword After Objecting A Man To Drink Alcohol Outside His House In Damoh

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A youth was attacked with a sword and a stick by a miscreant after he objected to the miscreant consuming alcohol near his house in Damoh on Saturday.

Then injured was identified as Vijay Patel, resident of Madhaar.

The injured have been admitted to the District Hospital. Upon receiving the information, police registered a case against the accused.

What was the matter?

According to information, Sunil along with his friends were drinking alcohol near the house of Vijay Patel in Madhaar village on Saturday night. When Vijay got to know about it, he went outside and asked Sunil and his friends to stop drinking alcohol.

Following this, they attacked him with sticks and swords under the influence of alcohol, in which he was seriously injured. The accused then fled from the spot. Upon ruckus, a lot of people gathered at the spot and meanwhile, police were informed.

Jabalpur Naka Chowki police reached the spot immediately and admitted the injured to the district hospital. Currently, he is admitted to the surgical ward of the hospital.

A case has been registered against the accused under sections of assault. The police are searching for the accused. Further investigations are underway.
