Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The body of an unidentified woman was found on the railway tracks under Shahpura police station on Monday night. Body has been sent to the mortuary and efforts are underway to identify it, police said.
According to reports, a local Kaluram spotted the body on the tracks near Misrod Railway Crossing and alerted the cops. Police reached the spot for investigations but nothing was found from the spot through which the woman could be identified.

The body was in a mangled state making it difficult to recognise the woman. However, on the basis of appearance, the woman seems to be middle aged. The woman was wearing saree and seems to be from well-off family, police said.
Police officials stated that a photograph of the unidentified woman's body has been circulated to all nearby police stations and uploaded on various social media platforms in an effort to help establish her identity. Authorities are hoping that someone may recognize her and come forward with relevant information.
Alongside efforts to identify the deceased, investigators are also exploring the possibility that the woman might have accidentally fallen off a moving train, which could have led to her death.
However, no conclusive evidence has been found so far, and the case remains under investigation.
