TI Arvind Kujur Suicide Case: Chhatarpur Police Detains 6 Including Aashi Raja |
Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): In a significant development in the TI Arvind Kujur suicide case, Chhatarpur police have detained 6 people.
According to sources, the police have detained half a dozen individuals, including Aashi Raja and Sonu Thakur.
A Safari Storme SUV has also been seized as part of the investigation. The suspects had been on the run since the incident.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Agam Jain had formed multiple teams to track down the accused. Authorities believe that their interrogation may lead to major revelations in the case.
What was the matter?
According to information, TI Arvind Kujur died by suicide on March 6 due to unknown reasons. This led to an intensified investigation with authorities now focusing on 25-year-old Aashi Raja, a close friend of Kujur. Originally from Bijawar, Raja was reportedly in constant contact with him before his tragic death on March 6.
When a police team visited Raja’s home in Chhatarpur, she had already fled. Her mother was questioned, and officials have begun tracking her through her Call Detail Records (CDR). Their friendship is believed to have lasted about a year, and investigators suspect she may have some connection to the case.
Coming from a financially weak background, Raja became active in student politics in Chhatarpur and formed a bond with Kujur during her time with the Vidyarthi Parishad. As the search for her continues, her exact role in the case remains uncertain.
