Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday said that in today’s era, skill is the currency, and India understands this very well. It is for this reason, he said, that steps have been taken towards innovation and employment-focused education.
Speaking at the national workshop on Vikshit Madhya Pradesh @2047, themed “Employment Oriented Education: Trends and New Opportunities”, held at Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium, CM highlighted the state’s proactive reforms in higher education sector. The event was organised by the Higher Education Department.
He said Madhya Pradesh, being an agriculture-based state, has extended agriculture-related courses even to general colleges. The state has more than 70 universities, both government and private, and National Education Policy (NEP) is being implemented in over 10,000 educational institutions.
