Narrow Escape For Labourer’s Sleeping Family After Wall Collapses Amid Heavy Rains In MP’s Narmadapuram
This accident happened due to rain and weak wall-construction

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A labourer and his family had a narrow escape after a wall of his shanty suddenly collapsed amid heavy rains in Narmadapuram district. This incident was reported in Dongarwada village at around 11 pm on Thursday night.
Alerted by the noise, the family members sleeping in the house woke up and saved themselves, but the household items kept under the wall were buried. Some of the goods included expensive items like LED TV.
According to information, the cot on which the family was sleeping was at some distance away from the wall, which saved them all from a major accident.
The victim labourer Subhash Baniya said that household items kept in the house like boxes, beds, LED TV and chairs were buried in the accident, causing huge loss to them. On getting information about the incident, Sarpanch Makhan Keer reached the victim's house and assured to give assistance by informing the Tehsildar.

The villagers say that “until the house is repaired and shelter is arranged, fear and anxiety will remain, we hope for help from the administration”.
