Satna (Madhya Pradesh): A head constable, Dileep Tiwari, posted in Kotar area in Satna fired shots in the air with revolver at the wedding ceremony of his brother-in-law, wife’s brother. The constable shot in the air when he was dancing to the tune of a Bollywood number. Afterwards, he handed over the revolver to his minor boy.
The wedding ceremony was organized on November 26. The bridegroom’s procession set out from Bagha in Satna and had to go to Rewa. When the procession was about to reach the venue, Tiwari fired in the air from his licensed revolver. Tiwari shot in the air several times during the wedding ceremony and asked the minor boy to fire. Additional superintendent of police Shivech Singh Baghel said Tiwari was on leave on November 26. There is a video of the incident which is being probed, he said.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The 125th birth anniversary of (Prakatya Utsav) of Neem Karoli Baba will be celebrated on December 3 in Bhopal. Sharing details about the event, Baba’s grandson Dhananjay Sharma said Sundarkand recital and Braj Raas Leela would be organised on the open air stage of Ravindra Bhavan.
The Sundarkand path will be recited by Vijendra Chauhan from Delhi while Shiv Tandav will be recited by Kaliputra Kalicharan. Bhajan singer Sudhir Vyas and his team will present devotional songs and Acharya Bharti Sharma with her team of artistes will present Braj Raas Leela.
