MP: 55-Year-Old Woman Dies After Shawl Gets Stuck In Fan, Causing Her To Trip & Fall

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 55-year-old woman died after getting hit by a fan used for cleaning paddy on Sunday in Ashoknagar.
The accident occurred when was sweeping near the fan, during which her shawl accidentally got stuck and she tripped and fell on the ground at Ashoknagar.
She was rushed to the district hospital where the doctor declared her dead.

The woman was identified as Leela Bai (55), wife of Sudarshan Sharma, of resident of Madhi Tumen village.
According to information, Leela Bai was sweeping near the fan that was installed in the courtyard of the house to clean the paddy. After the crop was cleaned, she came near the fan when her shawl got stuck in the fan. It was so intense that she tripped and fell on the ground.
Following this, she screamed out of pain and her family rushed to her. Upon seeing her in terrible condition, the family then immediately took the woman to the district hospital where the doctor declared her dead. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot immediately.
Case registered
The police asked the hospital staff to conduct the post-mortem on the body. The police have registered a case and further investigations are underway.
