Minister Prahlad Patel Becomes Defensive After Central Leadership’s Intervention

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): After the intervention of Central BJP leadership, Minister Prahlad Patel has become defensive over his controversial statement.

On Tuesday, he posted on X that for him, public is akin to God, whether it has rejected him or accepted him.

‘This is past of mine dedication, it is even today as well. But how corrupt could love such politics of ethics,’ he quipped.

His remark of corrupt was aimed against Congress leaders who made a blistering attack against him over his controversial comment given during a function at Rajgarh.

Notably, during a programme at Rajgarh recently, he courted controversy by saying that people have developed the habit of begging from government.

Whenever a leader is called on dais, he is garlanded and at the same time, bucketful requests are given to him. He wants that society shall become self-dependent, instead of asking things, it shall develop habit of giving contribution.

As he had tagged BJP National President JP Nadda in his clarification posted on X, hence it is being fathomed that he faced flak from Nadda on his controversial comment.
