Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A tiger reportedly killed a teenage boy in the jungles close to Bawanthadi in Seoni on Friday.
The incident triggered a road block on highway
Following the incident, angry villagers staged a road block on National Highway 44. Owing to the road blockade, which continued till late evening hours, long queues of vehicles were witnessed on both sides of the road.

Deputy director of Pench Tiger Reserve, Rajnesh Singh told Free Press that the tiger mauled a youth named Sumit Pandre, aged between 16 to 20 years. He was a resident of Bawanthadi village and had gone to the jungle to graze the cattle. In the meantime, the tiger came from nowhere and killed him.
The protest lasted for 4-5 hours
Though villagers were assured that the tiger would be taken to some other place, the protest continued till four to five hours.
