Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): There is no alert of heavy rain in Madhya Pradesh for 3 days. Due to the weakening of the system, only light drizzle is expected in the state.
According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear in most of the districts on Sunday. At the same time, the phase of heavy rain will start again from July 23.
An average of 20.5 inches of rain has been recorded in the state in this monsoon season, whereas till now only 12.3 inches of water was to fall, that is, the average rain has been 8.2 inches more.
Niwari, Tikamgarh are such districts where the quota of normal rain has been completed. At the same time, more than 80 percent of the water has fallen in many districts.
Monsoon trough and depression away from MP
Meteorologist Arun Sharma said - There is no alert of heavy rain anywhere in the next 24 hours. Similar weather is expected on 21-22 July. On July 23, heavy rain will start in some districts of the eastern part.
A monsoon trough and depression are definitely active, but they are far away from MP. When activity starts in place of Western Disturbance, then a period of rain will begin.
Light rain occurred only in Sheopur
Due to monsoon trough and depression, heavy rain continued in the state on Saturday, but on Sunday the weather became clear in most of the districts.
By afternoon, light rain occurred only in Sheopur. After the rain stopped, the day temperature in Khajuraho was 35.6 degrees, in Sidhi 34.6 degrees, in Satna 33.9 degrees, in Mandla 33.5 degrees, in Datia, Raisen and Narmadapuram the mercury reached 33.4 degrees Celsius.
At night, light rain occurred with lightning in Balaghat, Anuppur, Shahdol, Rajgarh, Chhindwara, Seoni, Pandhurna, Dindori, Mandla, Umaria, Sidhi, Singrauli, Rewa, Mauganj, Betul, Maihar, Jabalpur, Katni.
