Madhya Pradesh: 50% Vacancies Reserved For Guest Teachers

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): State government has made amendments in Madhya Pradesh School Education Service (Teaching Cadre) Service conditions and Recruitment Rules 2018.

One of the amendments states that 50 % of the total available vacancies of teachers for direct recruitment will be reserved for guest teachers in each category.

It is for those who have worked as guest teachers in government schools run by the state government for a minimum of three academic sessions and minimum of 200 days.

In case, post reserved for guest teachers is not filled then the post will be filled by other eligible candidates. For each category of vacant posts, 50 % posts will be reserved for women candidates of the state.

Other than this, amendments vouch for 10 % reservation of posts to ex- servicemen in each category, reservation of 6% of posts for disabled people. Apart from this, it has been decided to fill 100 % posts of Uchch Madhyamik Shikshak (agriculture) will be filled through direct recruitment.
