Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A female teacher was allegedly forced to smoke cigarettes and consume liquor by the drunk school principal in Jabalpur’s Saliwada, said the police on Wednesday.
According to police, the matter pertains to a Convent School in Saliwada, where school principal, Kshitij Jacob allegedly took the victim teacher to Dumna Road on the pretext of discussing work and harassed her.
An FIR has been registered against the principal. Additional SP Suryakant Sharma stated that the Khamaria Police Station registered an FIR against Principal Kshitij Jacob and initiated an investigation. Police are reviewing CCTV footage from the school and gathering statements from other staff members as evidence.

As per the teacher's statement, the principal forced her to consume alcohol and cigarettes. When she resisted, she faced both mental and physical harassment. According to the complaint, the principal took her to Dumna Road under the pretense of discussing work and pressured her to drink and smoke. After her refusal, she was humiliated the next day in front of the entire school, made to kneel, and mentally harassed.
The teacher further claimed that the principal often behaved inappropriately toward her. He frequently summoned her to his office and made inappropriate advances.
Principal threatened to fire her
When she resisted, he allegedly threatened to fire her. She had been enduring this for two years, fearing job loss because she desperately needed employment. However, after this recent incident, she decided to seek justice and approached the police.
The police have assured that appropriate action will be taken if the allegations are proven true. Meanwhile, Principal Kshitij Jacob has not issued any statement regarding the accusations.
