Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): Dozens of differently-abled people protested at the Department of Empowerment in Jabalpur on Monday, demanding the resignation of Commissioner Sandeep Rajak over unfulfilled basic amenities.
The protesters stormed the stage during the World Disability Day celebrations, snatched the microphone, and raised slogans against the commissioner.
The protestors, who had tied black bands to their arms, began a sit-in at the venue, declaring they would continue until their demands were addressed.
The disruption forced authorities to halt the event, and police and administrative officials arrived to manage the situation.
