Cultural Fest 'Virasat' Shines With Swati Mehul’s Bhajans, Exhibitions, & Randeep Hooda’s Vision For MP
Chief minister Mohan Yadav and Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda were present as special guests.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Singer Swati Mehul, known for her bhajan, Meri Jhopdi Ke Bhag Aaj Khul Jayenge, Ram Ayenge, performed with her team from Mumbai at Kalaon ki Vividhata ka Utsav: Virasat, held at Ravindra Bhawan on Friday.
Chief minister Mohan Yadav and Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda were present as special guests. The event featured exhibitions including a Shrimad Bhagwat Purana art display, showcasing 271 miniature paintings in Guler style, a traditional art form from Himachal Pradesh.

Additionally, a special exhibition titled, Madhya Pradesh: Achievements of One Year in Development, showcased the state government’s initiatives and progress over the past year. CM highlighted state’s achievements.
Reflecting on PM’s journey, the CM said, “Till the age of 50, PM Modi never contested elections. When he did, he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Later, he contested from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, despite ideological differences in the region, and emerged victorious.”
Actor Hooda described MP as sukoon bhoomi (land of peace). He praised the state’s cultural richness and shared his vision of a film city in MP, encouraging global filmmakers to come and learn. The CM commended Hooda’s portrayal of Veer Savarkar, calling it exceptional and a tribute to Savarkar who endured the harsh punishment of Kaala Pani.
