CRWS Bhopal Achieves Periodic Overhauling Of 299 Coaches Between April & June

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Passenger Coach Reconstruction Factory (CRWS), Bhopal of West Central Railway has completed Periodic Overhauling (POH) of a total of 299 coaches during the first three months (April to June 2025) of the current financial year 2025-26.

During the same period, in the month of June, the factory demonstrated its efficiency by completing POH outturn of 100 coaches. These figures show commendable achievement in relation to the targets set by the Railway Board.

Under the constant supervision of senior officials, the Bhopal factory management achieved this success with team spirit and a well-planned action plan.

The following works are done during Periodic Overhauling (POH):

• Maximum safety in operation is ensured by repairing the body and undergear of the coaches.

• All critical parts of trolley and bogie are repaired, which are extremely important from a safety point of view.

• Air brake system, buffer, and other structural equipment are repaired so that passengers can experience shock-free and safe travel.

• Operational safety is strengthened by maintaining and repairing wheels and axles.
