Centre Approves Four Road Projects For MP Includes, Bhopal, Vidisha, Sagar District Besides Gwalior City | FPJ
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Union road transport minister Nitin Gadkari has approved four road projects for Madhya Pradesh, which will improve its road connectivity and boost industry and trade.
Chief minister Mohan Yadav said the road projects would play a key role in accelerating economic growth.
The road projects have been approved for Bhopal, Vidisha and Sagar district besides Gwalior city.
A sum of Rs 1,535.66 crore has been approved for Bhopal district for upgrading 43.200-km stretch from Sandalpur to Nasullaganj bypass (national highway 1468) to four-lane high way.

Likewise, Rs 731.36 crore have been sanctioned for Vidisha and Sagar district for converting 10.079-km section from Rahatgarh to Berkhedi (National Highway 146) into a four-lane road.
Rs 688.31 crore has been allocated for Sagar
A sum of Rs 688.31 crore has been allocated for Sagar district to construct 20.193-km greenfield four-lane Sagar western bypass, connecting Lahdara village to Berkhedi Guru village (from NH 146 to NH 44).
Besides, a sum of Rs 1,347.6 crore has been approved for developing 28.516-km access controlled four-lane western bypass in Gwalior.
Expressing gratitude to Gadkari, chief minister Yadav said central government significantly boosted Madhya Pradesh’s road infrastructure and regional development. The projects will enhance connectivity across different regions of the state, he added.
