Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A day after appointing presidents of Ujjain and Vidisha districts, the BJP announced names of 18 more district presidents on Monday. Ravindra Yati has been appointed as Bhopal (City) district president. Yati is close to BJP state president VD Sharma and the latter played a pivotal role in getting the post for him. The party finalised the names as per the choice of Sangh and other big leaders.
Teerath Singh Meena has been given charge of Bhopal (Rural). Raisingh Sendav has been appointed as Dewas district president, Alok Tiwari as Ashok Nagar district President, Vandana Khandelwal as Neemuch district president, Rajesh Verma as Harda district president, Dharmendra Sikarwar as Guna district president, Rajkumar Patel as Jabalpur (Rural) district president, Shashank Bhushan as Sheopur district president.
Jaswant Jatav has been appointed as Shivpuri district president. He is the choice of Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Pradeep Upadhyay has become district president of Ratlam, while Kamlesh Sohane is Maihar district president.
Dr Rajendra Mishra has been appointed as Mauganj district president, Manoj Mane as Burhanpur district president, Brijendra Mishra as Panna district president, Chandrabhan Singh Gautam as Chhattarpur district president, Rajpal Singh Tomar as Khandwa district president, Rajesh Dhakad as Ujjain rural district president.
