Bhopal: MPTDC Launches State-Of-The-Art Eggless Bakery 'MPT Bake House 231/2°' At Palash Residency
It is fitted with high-tech equipment, imported from Germany and Thailand.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (MPTDC) has set up an ultra-modern bakery on the premises of Palash Residency. It is the first bakery of Corporation and the biggest in terms of variety of items and production capacity in the city. The bakery is called MPT Bake House 231/2°, named after the latitude of the Tropic of Cancer, which passes through Bhopal.
It is fitted with high-tech equipment, imported from Germany and Thailand. They include a 3-deck oven, rotary oven, cookie dropping machine, cake photo printer and dough kneader. The cake photo printer can print a photograph on cakes. All the products of the bakery will be eggless.

About 60 varieties of bakery items produced by the bakery are for sale at the outlet in Palash Residency. The costliest items are rasmalai cake and red velvet cake, both priced at Rs 2,050 a kg. Other cakes available at the outlet include English tea cake with chocolate frosting, tres leches with Belgian chocolate and fruits.
Chef Deepak Negi told Free Press that bakery was capable of producing 150 kg cookies in one hour. “Earlier, we had only around 20 varieties of bakery items. Now, there are 60,” he added. Managing director, MPTDC, Ilayaraja T, said bakery would be formally inaugurated next month. It will supply bakery items to all Corporation units in Bhopal.
