Bhopal: ITF $30K Tennis Tournament: India’s Unseeded Siddhartha Rawat Defeats Second Seed Crawford
Vishnuvardhan played aggressively to win the first set, but could not maintain the momentum.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Second seed Oliver Crawford and third seed Bogdon Bobrov were eliminated by unseeded Sidharth Rawat of India and Fomin Sergey of Uzbekistan respectively at the ongoing ITF $30K tennis tournament at Arera Club in the city on Wednesday.
Uzbek player Fomin Sergey was instrumental in eliminating the flamboyant third seed Bogdan Bobrov of Russia in straight sets 6-1, 6-1 in yet another mega upset of the tournament.
Calm and composed Siddharth Rawat kept the pressure up on Crawford. Very methodically, he tackled the aggressive Crawford, wrapping up the third set 6-0 to move to the second. In another tense match, India's Vishnuvardhan lost out to Eric Vanshelboim after being one set up in the first set 7-6, 1-6, 2-6.
Two of the Sidharth's from India, namely Sidharth Rawat and Sidharth Vishwakarma were instrumental in eliminating second seed Oliver Crawford and fourth seed Florent Bax(FRA) respectively. Uzbek player Fomin Sergey was instrumental in eliminating the flamboyant third seed Bogdan Bobrov (RUS) in straight sets 6-1, 6- 1 in yet another mega upset of the tournament.
Siddharth Rawat was full of calm and composure and kept the pressure up on the much vocal Crawford. Very methodically, he tackled the aggressive Crawford, wrapping up the third set 6-0 to move to the second. In another tense match, India's Vishnuvardhan lost out to Eric Vanshelboim after being one set up in the first set 7-6, 1-6, 2-6. Though Vishnuvardhan played an attacking game early on and was able to sail through the first set was unable to maintain the momentum in the later sets and conceded the match to the sixth seed.
