Bhopal: Cyber Conmen Attempt Fraud On Graphic Designer, Seek Feedback On Failing
The graphics designer who was aware of modus operandi of cyber conmen made a complaint against them at crime branch office.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Cyber conmen who attempted to defraud a graphics designer while posing as Mumbai crime branch cops and claiming that celebrities were receiving threat calls from his mobile number. A fraudster in police uniform claimed that an FIR had been registered against the designer at Mumbai.
The graphics designer who was aware of modus operandi of cyber conmen made a complaint against them at crime branch office. As per reports, resident of Gurunanak Pura, Anirudhh Bapat works as a graphic designer for a Mumbai based company.
On Friday morning, Anirudhh received a call from an unknown number. The person on the other side posing as a cop claimed that Mumbai police had lodged a case against him for threatening celebrities. The designer was asked to come to Mumbai if he wanted to avoid getting arrested from his home. The designer then received a video call in which a man in police uniform threatened to arrest him and told him not to disconnect the call.
However, Anirudhh who was aware of the modus operandi of the conmen. The conman posing as cop claimed that he was there to help people when Anirudhh said they were working hard on setting up police station and crime branch office. Realising that Anirudhh cannot be fooled, the conmen even asked for a feedback and their mistakes.
