Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Alarmed after a series of murders in the state capital during the past few weeks, senior police officials have issued instructions to prepare a list of top ten criminals at all 34 police stations of the city. Police will not only keep a strict watch on the activities of such criminals but will also take preventive action against them.
Immediate action will be taken against them if they are found creating trouble, Bhopal police commissioner Harinarayanachari Mishra said. It is worth mentioning that criminals and history sheeters who were released on bail were found committing crimes with impunity in the absence of strict monitoring on their activities.

On May 9, a criminal Arman was shot at by his rivals only three days after he came out from jail in an attempt to murder case. Police officials said that the list of top ten criminals will include individuals who are involved in criminal activities for past four or more years and have four or more criminal cases against them.
Besides keeping watch on their activities, police will also investigate regarding their financial sources and their patrons and supporters. Moreover, police will also take information about rivalries between different groups of criminals so as to prevent clashes and untoward incidents. On Thursday, Tila Jamalpura police arrested one Bablu Khan aka Bada Kaalu, a close aide of notorious history sheeter Arshad Babba. The action was taken after Kaalu was found threatening people with a sword at Islami Gate.
